Stayed here for 1 night. Facilities are very basic. Very small bar serving bottled beer only. We managed to bag the last spare pillow from reception! Several light bulbs were missing from our room. No air-con and air craft noise meant you couldn't have the window open. Parking is free evenings and weekends which was probably the only bonus.

Dont understand all the bad reviews. We stayed for one night with two kids. Nice building and looked clean and well presented. We had no difficult with parking and parked for free in main car park. Room was on third floor, good size room could do with updating but doesn't deserve the criticism from the other reviews. We requested extra... More

This Travelodge is very convient for both the M5 and M6 motorways but it needs to be improved to compete with Premier Inns. The rooms we were allocated were clean and tidy both on the 6th floor. The bed was quite comfy but the bedding was quit worn. We were given extra towels on arrival these were ok. When we booked... stayed here recently in a big group, our room was your standard travelodge room so you know what to expect! Nice and clean etc all thje standard facilities. Added benefit of a small restuarant / bar on the ground floor too which served foor 24 hours. Perfectly placed for the NEC or for going into town.

well i have had nightmares that look like this !! I haven't stayed in many hotels but the ones I have my stays have been quite pleasant and I'm not a snob but this hotel was horrific. For a family room that has 1 towel..no bath plug. Me and my mum were staying just for one night thank god. As... More

Fort Dunlop could easily be 4 star, but ... how do I start, other tripadvisor reviews give a clue: Seriously Poor, Worst ever hotel, Confusing parking, Terrible, Clueless, Dangerous, Don't get your hopes up, Dirty, Filthy like a hostel, Worst in UK, Never Again, Needs Love and Attention, Scrambled Eggs smelling old and solid as a rock. My example: sofa... More

Location great if you don't get mugged in the carpark. Staff cluless and scruffy. Room was and old office with a bed. Used my iPad as a pillow as thicker than the soiled one on the bed. Sheets older than me and took budget beyond what anyone would generally expect. Hot water for a shower would have been a nice... More

Where to start on this one..........well, the positives, there was a roof above my head for a week and it was free as I was on a training course, because there is no way it is worth £19 pounds a night. Probably for me the worst part of the stay was when the fire alarm went off and there was... More
