“Anniversary stay”

“Convenient but a little tired”

Situated right next to station so couldn't be more convenient if travelling by train. Rooms feel a little tired to me, but are comfortable enough. However, I like a powerful shower and the last thing the showers here could be described as is powerful, quite the opposite. Notwithstanding this, the staff were all nice and helpful.

“fit for a queen”

I always feel the decor of the hotel takes you back to the 1800s and the other rooms for conferences are nice - they are individual and tasty. the breakfast is the best I have had compared to most hotels apart from the strand palace. it has extras that others do not have - like chocolate spread, marmite etc do... Stopped in The Queens for one night while visiting Leeds. Service efficient and polite during checking in and out, staff very friendly.
