Very nice rooms, but missing charm, friendly and personal service. You feel processed when you check in, just another number on their books. The girl on checkout seemed exhausted and tired - she might have been on duty for a looong time. Lacked a smile :-(

Never stay here on a weekend. Our room (80) was over a side street patrolled by drunks until 3am. A wedding in the hotel resulted in poor service for the rest of us. And the wedding disco lasted quite ate as well. Best thing about it was the breakfast. Desk service was indifferent to requests. Really. Find someplace else.

Upon arrival at the Red Lion we discovered a problem with our door key, which was quickly resolved with an upgrade to one of the character rooms in the old wing. Every room in the Inn is unique. The decor is gorgeous. The rich history of the Inn has been wonderfully maintained - but you still get hot water for your shower! The food in the restaurant is excellent and the staff are fabulously friendly. Loved our stay there and will definitely go back.
