It's an old hotel and looks a little shabby around the edges. not sure when the carpet in our room was last vacummed as there were bits of what looked that broken costume jewellery all over it. Obviously very much used by the locals as the bar was packed on the Sunday evening (there was also a 80s/90s skool-themed disco... More

We have eaten at the restaurant for many years. The last time we went was on 27th april to celebrate my birthday. Everything was perfect, food, service from Dianne, location, value for money. The views are amazing. You have got to try it!!!

We stayed at this hotel when attending a friend's birthday party. At seventy pounds per night we expected a reasonable to good level of accommodation. Big mistake! The hotel is a shambles. Although the staff are friendly there are no further points to recommend it. We were in a room on the top floor, or to be more accurate ,... More

I went here for a family wedding. We had the full shebang, wedding breakfast, reception and accommodation and all were brilliant. The food was very tasty, staff were excellent, rooms very spacious and comfortable and the breakfast even managed to defeat the hangover monster! The only things I'd comment on was the power of the shower and the price of... More

I stayed at the hotel in July for one night with my wife and had a nice stay. Yes the rooms and decor are dated and could do with a little modernising, but actually, we were in Menai Bridge, a beautiful picturesque village on the banks of the Menai Straits so old fashioned in a way added to the tranquil,... We stayed for one night in this hotel. Our room was situated on the very top floor which meant having to walk up quite a few steps but this was worth it considering the view we had which was absolutely breathtaking. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great.

We were greeted by Val, who was just so helpful and kind to two hikers, offered the family room in the house next door, loads of space, separate shower and bathroom, huge balcony and sweet bunk bed in loft area. Yes the Victoria could do with a little T.L.C. But I think this may take a little away from the... More

My husband and I booked into this hotel at the last minute during a short break away. The staff accomodated us despite the late hour and gave us a lovely room with a breathtaking view. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide choice of foods. Overall we were very pleased. Would definitely stay again.

With my wife studying in Bangor University, my daughter and myself stayed here with her for the weekend. £69.50 per room per night with a £10 suppliment for an extra child. We had a room with a balcony and a view of the beautiful Menai Strait. Such a nice place on a fine weekend like we had. Lovely garden as... More

The room was very outdated, with ancient bed linen, carpet and furniture. The receptionist told us that this room was the "Bridal Suite" and therefore was the best room, we couldn't believe it! The four poster bed was very creaky which didn't make us feel very comfortable. Also the walls were very thin and we could here people in the... More
