We have stayed in 3 places now in Betsy Co-ed and this for its easy location, friendly atmosphere (and the cute cat) is good value for money. Small enough to be quiet but good sized rooms and good sized breakfasts (the omelettes are excellent). A good B&B

This was a surprise return visit to The Court House (Henllys) for a few days away. Seven years since our last stay we found that the bed & breakfast has been divided into two properties. Although the room we stayed in previously was now in the other property we weren't disappointed. The Fingerprint Room was very cosy & warm. There... More

After an extensive search on-line, I settled on Henllys for my last minute trip to Wales. The search was well worth it - located on a quiet road just behind the main street, this is a gem. I stayed in the "Convicted Felons" cell room, which was really more of a small suite, with it's own ante room and private... More

As one of 3 couples on a weekend in Wales we arrived late afternoon to be met by John who greeted us enthusiastically, wanting to see the soft top cars we had arrived in. Our friend had mentioned at the time of booking that we hoped the weather would be good for our trip. Well it could not have been... More

We have just returned from a 5 night stay (with 2 year old as well). The Courthouse is located right in the heart of the town but in a quiet spot right next to the river and easy parking. Clean and lovely spacious rooms with fantastic breakfast choice but it is the hosts that make this place so special. John... More

We were in the middle of our UK vacation traveling as a couple, but were meeting our daughter, who trained it over from London for the weekend. Claire and John were very helpful, friendly, and actually seemed interested in their guests without being intrusive. The breakfast was delicious, and one a guest could choose from a menu Claire presented to... More

Friendly greeting, lovely rooms, smashing breakfast! Very well located and very pretty area. Claire even lent me a stick for my climb up Snowdon. Thank you.

When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Claire, who is one of the friendliest people I have ever genuinely met. We were shown our room, which was a holding cell of the original police station; were were told about the old police station and given a little history of its place in the village over the years. The room... More
