Stayed at this hotel for one night last weekend and found that it provided excellent value for money. The hotel is clean and the staff are efficient. Comments from other members concerning faded decoration and so on are valid BUT please keep in mind that this is a 3 star hotel and not The Ritz!!

OK with a three star hotel you may not expect the earth but one thing you should get is cleanliness. Fluff in the wardrobe, fluff and rubbish behind the bedside cabinet, hairs and general grime at the edges of the bathroom floor. The rather gloomy cramped bedroom needed to be deep cleaned and redecorated to bring it up to date.

Whilst the decor is definitely dated, the location of the hotel is fantastic - especially if you're taking a trip up Snowdon. The staff were all friendly and the buffet breakfast was okay.
