I've stayed at this hotel twice. On both occasions I attended wedding receptions at the venue. The grounds are beautiful with distant views of Cardiff and the Bristol channel. For history lovers, there's a lot of history attached to the building and grounds which is documented in a leaflet in the rooms.

We stayed here overnight on a business trip and it was very nice, the hotel has a lovely traditional country feel and the staff were very pleasant. We stayed for 2 nights for a family wedding, and can only say how wonderful our stay was at this hotel . The suite was massive, and really comfortable, the gym is well equipped and the food delicious. The staff were very friendly and highly efficient. I would certainly stay here again

I was an usher as part of my friends wedding which consisted of around 80-100 guests.
The hotel is set overlooking Cardiff and the Bristol Channel, surrounded by rolling hills and country side making this an ideal location for a really special day.

The hotel is just to the north of Cardiff. We were glad to have used the hotel's sat nav instructions (not their post code) as it would have been hard to find coming from Severn Bridge. Stumbled upon this hotel by accident for a 2night stay for a business trip as it was in the right area of Cardiff. The location and setting with views of the Caerphilly Hills is wonderful and yet there is an easy access to Cardiff city centre approx 30 mins drive away.
