We stayed Easter weekend and could not find fault with anything, overall it was excellent, Melvyn was very friendly and helpful, we would highly recommend the kings lodge. The breakfast was really delicious and we look forward to staying again.

I have stayed here on four separate occasions now, and have found everything to be of the highest standard - lovely comfortable rooms, modern showers, helpful friendly owner and good food both for breakfast and evening meals if desired.

It really does live up to its name as a Boutique Guesthouse. It is modern and clean with a fancy shower/bath tub. Travelling with our 1 year old for our 2 night stay it was great to have a bath tub, small fridge and the option to order pizzas in house.

Have stayed here a few times now. Rooms are all thgemed and are to an excellent standard. Melvyn the owner is brilliant cannot dp enough for you. I will be back again soon. Ideal forbwhere I work but only a short distance from the city centre.

Grown up in Belfast and often been disappointed when looking for home from home but found it!!! Rooms very high quality and great size, on main bus road but located in leafy trendy suburb if city. Stayed for four days at Melvyn's Hotel. Just far enough out of the city centre, 10 mins on the bus (bus stop outside the hotel). Lovely clean, contemporary rooms with nuggets of surprise features. Excellent breakfast made to order, and hospitality was exceptional. Coming back to Belfast again later in the year, I know where I'll be staying.

Could not believe how nice the rooms were! Absolutly stunning! Kings lodge is in a perfect location for going into town, going to a concert in the Kings Hall or just getting dinner on the Lisburn road. Perfect for a weekend or overnight stay. Friendly helpful staff, could sit and talk to Melvin all day! Great prices!
