I stayed here recently for 4 nights. The place is spotless, breakfast was excellent. Alice was lovely - I felt completely at home - gave me a loan of an umbrella, plate and cutlery so that I could eat in my room - served breakfast earlier than normal to facilitate me - highly recommend you stay here if you are... We stayed at this Guest House in this tree-lined suburb after researching a great deal of places in Belfast. We traveled from sunny Florida for a conference my partner was asked to attend February 8-10, 2012. We brought our son and my mother in law and were treated very, very well by the owners of the Guest house, Alice and... More

I had a lovely 3 night stay at Avenue Guest House and really enjoyed it! It was so clean, comfy and relaxing. Alice was a brilliant host - helpful with a map and recommendations for things to do and restaurants etc. The breakfast was top class - quality food and so well presented. Lovely dining room with a high standard... More

As a frequent traveller I do use tripadvisor but this is the first time that I have written a review. I have no hesitation in doing so as we had a brilliant stay at Avenue Guest house. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it! It was my partner’s 1st visit to Belfast although I have been before. The house... More

For a Small B and B this would be hard to beat. I have now stayed here 4 or 5 times and each time the welcome and courtesy of Alice and Stephen the owners gets better. The rooms are all individual and like being in a family bedroom with all the comforts of home. A very comfortable bed, Warmth, all... More

Stayed here and we loved it. Belfast is a great city too. The breakfast, the room and hospitality were just great. We will be back again in 2013 for a family reunion. More

I stayed here with my mum and dad and overall we found the experience to be a pleasing one. The room was lovely and spacious and the beds comfortable; I especially found the information guide useful. The cooked breakfast was very staisfying, especially with the home-made scones and whetan bread! Finally, Alice the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I... More

I was very pleased with my stay at the Avenue Guest House. Alice, the owner, is lovely and very welcoming. The breakfast is great, the building is a lovely old townhouse and my bedroom was beautiful. It was more like a suite in a hotel than a bedroom in a guest house! More

Last august we spent three days in Belfast and we stayed in this wonderful family run B&B. The B&B is a nice completely refurbished Victorian Townhouse and it's only few minutes from the city centre by bus. Our room was spacious and absolutely clean. There were a very comfortable bed, TV, free WiFi connection and tea&coffee making facilities. Both the... More

This was our 5th. visit to Belfast in consecutive years and our 5th. stay at Avenue Guest House. That in itself has to say something. We know what we are getting and we like it. Our host Alice goes out of her way to ensure our comfort and convenience and I am convinced our stay was cheaper than last year. Now... More
