We arrived in Aberdeen on April 26Th 2011...I had booked our room on-line we arrived early the restaurant was not open but we were ushered into the pub and brought toast and tea...while we waited for our room. We felt so welcomed by all the staff, they were all very friendly. Our first introduction to Cullen Skink Soup made with... More

I passed this place the other night on the way home from work, and it looked so inviting with all it's christmas lights twinkling that I decided to venture up it's rather grand driveway for a drink. My first impression was that it is a beautiful place with lovely old-world decor and chandaliers a-plenty. With an expectant smile on my... More

Stayed for a weekend, staff were lovely, great location and we were lucky enough to get some sun, so we got to enjoy the gardens, very busy place, popular with families and groups, but also noticed lots of couples too. Would definitely be back! More

I can't fault this hotel for providing comfortable accommodation and reasonable breakfasts. There was nothing to make it outstanding, but the room was relatively modern and spacious with a comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was a fairly standard fare but cooked options were tasty and not too greasy, as they often can be in many places. The pub and... More

Normally when in Aberdeen on business i tend to go for the Premier Inn just off Union Street which is perfect as most of the meetings we have are in the city centre, however this trip was a bit rushed so we couldn't get a room. Turns out it was a blessing in disguise as we booked this fantastic wee... More

On Sat 3rd July 2010, we booked the hotel to cater for a small family wedding, (18 Guests). We had a fantastic day, and all the staff gave us 100% plus in service and friendliness, the meals were faultless with huge helpings, and they even made a special desert for the Bride, they reserved tables for us in the Malt... I cannot praise this hotel enough. Ok the rooms are a bit bright, but the bar, food and staff are exceptional. This was our first stay since my wife had abdominal surgery. This has resulted in her being able to eat a proper meal for the first time in 12 years. The Ferryhill did itself proud. My wife realy enjoyed... More

Recently spent a night here. A beautiful room, delicious meal, friendly staff. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that there isn't a seperate reception area, but this didn't detract from a great experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. More
