I had finished walking the Cobbler mountain and needed an overnight stay before returning home. I was very fortunate that the tourist office directed me to Maggie's B&B. I had been to Inveraray a number of times so I was able to find Maggie's place easily enough. Its a few miles south of the town. By the time I got... More

This is a great place to stay; excellent value, a comfortable room, a remarkable view over the loch from the breakfast room, a great cooked breakfast, and a warm and friendly welcome from Maggie and Alistair. Will come again.

The best views and location. Best hosts you can imagine. Freshly caught seafood dinners at sunset over the loch - extra but well worth the request! Best rooms and facilities. First stayed here many years ago and delighted to say that our expectations year after year have been consistently surpassed! Highly recommended and not to be missed - Thanks to... More

The bed was the most comfortable i,ve ever slept in, so much so that i,m just about to order a memory foam matress for our bed! The view of the loch was breath taking. We had four very... More

While traveling through Scotland our original plan had been to spend a night in Inveraray. After trying half a dozen of the nicer-looking establishments that were all full, we gave up and kept on driving. Seeing a sign about 10 minutes down the road that said "Furnace Inn", I stopped to inquire if they had rooms - turned out to... More

After a nine hour drive from London I arrived at 11pm on a rainy night to a warm welcome and a lovely bright clean en-suite room.
