Very run down and expensive. Rooms that were reserved for 4 months were not available. Rooms were tiny and in need of a good clean. Staircases were dangerous. Furnishings in the lounge were threadbare. need I say more.

This hotel is dated, grubby and generally awful. We booked it because we have dogs and dog friendly places are hard to find. I wish we hadn't because it was not cheap and certainly not cheerful. Stayed here for two nights. The room was cold and very dated. No hot water for a shower or a wash. The general feel of the the place was that it needs a good clean and updating. The leisure spa also run down and dirty. Such a shame could be a lovely place. Would not advise anyone to stay here.
