We definitely recommend Briarbank, it's very nicely decorated, the rooms are clean and warm, with lots of pillows and cushions on the bed, and the welcoming whisky was just what we needed after a long day travelling. Breakfast was good, a decent choice and well prepared and presented. More

We just spent a few day in oban, nice quaint sea side town. We stayed at briarbank guest house it is a beautiful house, tastefully decorated and furnished. The owner were warm, helpful and friendly. Id definatly stay there again if i was in oban More

Julie was very welcoming and had lots of tips for the local area. The large glass of complimentary whisky was a nice touch too! This B&B is as Julie makes very clear in her advertising only suitable for those who can climb up the steep access path but that aside it was close to the town centre at a reasonable... More

we stayed for just one night and it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast menu was very good and you made your choice the previous night so Julie knew just what to cook the next morning. We stayed for 4 nights and toured the area from Briarbank as our base. Julie was very friendly and advised us of local cafes and excellent pubs and restaurants, The B & B is very clean and tidy and our Four Poster room was superb with a well stocked Tray and was very comfortable to unwind after a hard day...
