We stopped by for lunch while exploring the area around Dumfries. The bar tender handed us menus with no hint of welcome. Prices are high for mediocre food. The place is clean but the overall experience was bland and unfriendly. If we are in the area again, we will try the cafe across the street.

Went to the Nith for a meal with seven other people. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and the service was great!! Will definitely go back! The only negative thing to say about it is that it could do with a little modernization on the decoration.
