We stayed here for one night and, to be honest, all we needed was a decent night's sleep and a good breakfast, and we got both so no complaints there. The hotel is dated and run-down. Our room was clean, but TV reception was awful and remote didn't work, there was a big, dubious-looking stain on the chair in our... More

appearance - looks dire and quite shocking tbh from the outside but once inside it is well decorated and kept. there is free parking available. reception - polite lady who booked us in, very helpful and hospitable. we missed the evening dinner but offered to give us plates etc if we wanted to get a take out. decor - landing/stairs... My wife and I booked in for three nights having chosen this hotel primarily for its location and following review of all recent trip advisor reports. The B&B room rate was very cheap and in all fairness part of the attraction. Even if all the previous reviews were correct how could we not be impressed at this price? Particularly on... More

Comfortable, quiet, clean and it had everything you expect in a hotel, nothing fancy but it all worked. The only thing missing was Internet. More

We booked this hotel at a very reasonable rate through laterooms, as we were going to a family function 2 miles away. As others say, don't be put off by the outside, though we would never have stopped here if we were looking for accommodation on chance, it really does need done up. Receptionist was very nice, and asked if... More

Stayed here as a stop off on way to Prestwick airport, only took about 30 mins to get to airport in the morning. Staff were very nice and even offered us cereal at half passed 5 in the morning when we were leaving to catch our flight. Rooms basic but clean and all you need. More

Our experience with this hotel was fine, and our room was clean and adequate. But our view? The generators or whatever (!!) so we kept the curtains closed. The downstairs restaurant was expensive for dinner so we opted for the one on the rooftop (we had time constraints and needed to end our evening early). It was still overpriced! And... More
