We stayed at the Garlands Guest House in Edinburgh in March 2013. The rooms were immaculate, the host Bill was very welcoming and was very willing to help. Good variety of breakfast choice and expertly made would highly recommend to stay here.

ROOMS - I stayed in a single room with a single bed. It had plenty of room inside, the shower is in the room, but seperated from it by tiling etc... it actually works well. The other "excellent" reviews say it all! Really good choice for a stay in Edinburgh. Already planning another trip for the summer! The walk to the city centre and sights is about 15/20mins, but the local buses (day pass £3.50/single £.150) only takes 5mins.

Nice restaurants a short walk. Bill obviously takes great pride in his home and making all guests feel special. Would not consider staying anywhere else if we ever return to Scotland.

We staied at Garlands for 5 nights with our friends. Bill is a fantastic host and we felt so welcome from the very beginning. Charming rooms, wonderfull breakfast (yes, it is true.
