Very friendly and helpful staff. Cold, very dark, underlit corridors and stairs and not very warm bedroom. Excellent looking restaurant menu. Food poorly cooked. After a weekend away in Edinburgh cannot fault this hotel. Food was great, drinks reasonable and rooms clean and well looked after. Location was within easy 5 mins bus /taxi ride of city centre. Excellent, would recommend! More

I was slightly concerned about staying at Malmaison, given some of the mixed reviews here but I found everything was very good, great breakfast, good bar and very, very good nights` sleep, what more could you ask for? More
