Recently stayed here for two nights. The whole place was run down and when we entered the reception/lobby area it stunk of cigarette smoke which seemed to emanate to the entire building including our room. Thought it was also a bit pricey for what you get which was basically a room. Certainly won't be coming here again!

The staff were so friendly & good for local information 10/10. The room was fine but nothing special & could probably do with a revamp but nothing major. The staff made it at this run down Travelodge - they cannot do enough for you. It needs a bit of TLC but beds extremely comfy. a 2 night stay the location is good for bypass but located on a disused sad service area. the hotel itself is tired and lack basic maintaince lights do not work or constntly flash on and off in first room and then in changed room bath tired bed comfortable . House keeping needs to be improved pillows very thin.

Recently stayed here but had been before many years ago. Agree could do with some TLC however just what we wanted - basic room, clean and tidy, nice friendly staff - all at a good price. Would use this Travelodge again for a visit to Edinburgh.
