Just back from a night in the glasshouse and it was fantastic!! We had the romance package which included a bottle of champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries, petals on your bed, and breakfast in bed. The room was huge, the bathroom was just as big. The balcony was also huge. Even though it was cold we went onto the rooftop... More

Spent a week in Edinburgh with my daughter and found the hotel and staff to be so helpful with directions and recommendations. The location was great. Loved to boutique feel! Heated towel racks in the bathroom were especially nice. More

Stayed one night in a deluxe room - remarkably quiet with no traffic noise even though you're right in the centre of Edinburgh. Very comfortable bed, spacious room with all necessary facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very minor drawbacks - tv was small, channel-hopping function on remote didn't work and shower door didn't have a handle on the... More

my husband booked the glass house to celebrate my birthday. We stopped for 2nights between xmas and new year. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and told everything we needed to know about the hotel. We were shown to room 69 which was spacious and had the added benefit of a large roof terrace complete with garden furniture.... More

My boyfriend booked the 'Romance Package' which is a corner suite, and considering the size of the suite (it was massive) and it being Edinburgh, the price wasn't too expensive. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Check in is 2pm, but can sometimes accommodate you earlier if you let them know in advance. Check out is 11am (12pm on... More

Stayed here for one night as we were going to The Playhouse. Got a great deal through hotels.com. Check in was smooth, quick and efficient. The Glasshouse is right next door to The Playhouse, making it an ideal hotel for anyone looking for somewhere to stay after watching one of the many touring shows at the theatre. It is a modern hotel with very welcoming staff and a high quality fit out. It has easy access on foot to Waverley Station and Princess Street. More
