The hostel runs a shuttle service about every hour to Waterloo Place, even during the night until 3 am. Nevertheless I found the hostel very noisy. This is a very large hostel which benefits from being on the bank of the Firth of Forth and away from the bustle of the main city centre. I took a group of Scouts to Edinburgh for an event and stayed 2 nights here. My first impressions were; organised, clean, functional, friendly. These impressions were warranted.
