I've stayed here on many occasions when business takes me to Edinburgh - in fact, i wouldn't choose anywhere else. Clean, bright, lovely breakfast (lots of choice), LInda and Dave couldn't do better - so welcoming and helpful. No broadband when I was there - but free access in a mally hotel along the road - but I enjoyed the... More

I tried to find my place somewhere comfortably close to the centre of Edinburgh and was surprised by the place I have found. I have stayed before in the Holiday Inn nearby but the personal approach and homely atmosphere makes me to prefer this B&B for my future visits to Edinburgh. Whole place was well kept, clean and my room... More

This was a lovely B&B and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. After a series of hotel stays it was a real joy to stay in this haven. The single room at the back was cozy, beautifully presented and really comfortable. Dave and Linda are delightful, welcoming hosts who rustle up a superb breakfast with plenty to choose from. You really... More

Stayed with Dave & Linda for 3 nights over New Years to celebrate Hogmanay at Edinburgh's famous street party. We were charged a premium price for the triple room with a private bathroom which was to be expected at a busy time like this. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and was serviced everyday. The room was a bit... More

Glenlivet is quite well located for getting in to Edinburgh. The bus stop is very close and it takes about 20-25 mins to get to the city. The hosts were welcoming and informative. We found the room a little small, hard to find room for luggage. Nice breakfast provided. More

I find this the cleanest, most welcoming and friendly B&B I have visited and travel regularly - all over Scotland with my work. The breakfast served here is unsurpassed ( the selection of fresh fruit and the coffee are fantastic) - and I completely agree with the previous review that this must be one of Edinburgh's best kept secrets! Linda... More

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. We had a wonderful time and everything was perfect. We really loved the location. It was very easy to use the buses to get around. It is a very short ride to the center of town and also easy to get to and from the airport. The owners very very kind and... More

Glenlivet House is marvelous! Linda and Dave were kind, warm and welcoming. The room was cozy and inviting, and, like the entire house, immaculately clean. We stayed for 6 nights, and greatly appreciated our hosts' close attention to all the details that made our visit comfortable. And the breakfasts! Simply the best we had during our entire trip.
