Our group of five stayed in two rooms at Lauriston Park for two nights in May 2012. The rooms were very comfortable and Alan & Sarah were gracious hosts. We had a rental car but did not use it at all during our few days in Edinburgh, because everything we wished to see was a manageable walk from Lauriston Park... More

We stayed two nights in this B&B. It is easy to walk to all the sights and the owners were great about suggesting what to see and how to get there. The room has a good sized table so it is easy to setup and eat the delicious breakfast they brought to you each morning. The room was clean and... More

We had a lovely time at Lauriston Park for three nights during the the last weekend of the Fringe Festival. The B&B is at the end of a quiet street, and you can walk to all the major sites. It took us about 10 minutes (easy walk) to the Castle and Royal Mile. We really walked everywhere - Scottish Parliament,... More

My mom and I stayed here earlier this month, and we could not have been happier with our choice! We were in Edinburgh during the Fringe, and this was a very affordable and convenient option. Sarah and Alan were so gracious, helpful and accommodating, even running out for croissants and arranging for an earlier breakfast on days we had early-morning... More

5 of us had the pleasure of staying in June 2012. It was the perfect accomodation with lovely hosts Sarah, Alan, and George. The location was on a quiet street and allowed us to walk to all the attractions. The B & B was spotless, our rooms were generous in size, and the beds were deliciously comfortable with mattress warmers... More

Very large room with a modern bathroom. Only regret is that I did not get to enjoy the beautiful patio ( a bit rainy) very well priced for... More

My parents stayed there for a few days at the end of June and everything was perfect... Hosts were really nice, who you could have a good chat with. Although my parents don't speak English this was not a problem and Sarah even tried to say a few words in Spanish. Rooms were cosy, really clean, with anything you could... More

This was the perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. It is centrally located - allowing us to walk to the castle, University of Edinburgh, and several other attractions in less than 15 minutes. The rooms are HUGE, and are all en suite. The showers are incredible: great water pressure and really heats up. I have to say though I think... More

We stayed with Alan and Sarah this past June. It was my first time back in Edinburgh since completing my MSc. The hosts are both very pleasant, stopping chat whenever we both had the time. The continental breakfast is more food than you could possibly finish, and we much appreciated the fact that Sarah was flexible with its delivery as... More
