We chose this guest house because of its central position, the good reviews and the fact that they accepted our canine quadruped. We were not disappointed. We've stayed in the guest house for two nights during the Edinburgh Festival. The location is very good. It's central close to the old town of Edinburgh and its castle, restaurants and shops. Probably not the flashest of places that we have stayed but most likely one of the friendliest. Ruary and Aileen were very welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast- the room we stayed in was a family size but the bathroom was very small- but adequate.
