Stayed at the KGH in September 2011. Very friendly staff! Especially Debbie and the red haired woman serving the breakfast (I'm sorry I never asked her name...) were very kind and caring when I got a cold and almost couldn't speak... B&B is not that central but a 10 min walk uphill takes you past Grassmarket and straight to the...

Returned to Kingsview with six friends for a Christmas shopping trip in Edinburgh and had a wonderful stay.. If you're looking for clean and cosy accommodation with a fantastic breakfast, then this is the place to stay. Kingsview is within easy walking distance of the centre, or you can catch regular buses into the city. A day ticket on Lothian...

We chose this guest house because of its central position, the good reviews and the fact that they accepted our canine quadruped. We were not disappointed. Our ground floor room was large enough for the three of us and was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and there was a plentiful supply of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and biscuits....

A lovely place to stay, very homely, comfortable and friendly, no airs and graces put on by the owners and we were left to come and go as we pleased. A warm welcome was given by the owners, Ruary and Aileen and not forgetting Jodie their Cavalier king Charles. Breakfast was a treat, enough to set you up for the day....

We stayed with Ruary and Aileen for 2 nights. They are excellent hosts. The room was comfortable if not luxourious. The breakfast was large and tasty. The location is convenient. The Kingsview is good value and recommended.

We've stayed in the guest house for two nights during the Edinburgh Festival. The location is very good. It's central close to the old town of Edinburgh and its castle, restaurants and shops. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. I can really recommend this place for a stay in beautiful Edinburgh.

We stayed for 3 nights to attend the Edinburgh festival. The guest house was conveniently located and all the main attractions were within walking distance. The owner was very welcoming and the room was ready for our arrival. There was no free parking but secure parking for £6 per day was round the corner at some nearby flats. Our room...

Probably not the flashest of places that we have stayed but most likely one of the friendliest. Ruary and Aileen were very welcoming and provided a lovely breakfast- the room we stayed in was a family size but the bathroom was very small- but adequate.
The location was good with several of the local pubs within a few minutes walk...
