I've recently spent 3 night at this hotel and I will surely come back here if I have to go to Glasgow again. The hotel is 10 min walk from the University of Glasgow and 2 min walk from one of the subway station. I was in the city center in less than 10 minutes. Room: it was spacious, clean... More

We stayed here on Sat. 28th January and thought it was really great. We got a kind welcome, had a really comfortable room (I have forgotten the room number but it was on the top floor and had a double and single bed, with views over to the front street. The location of this hotel is excellent to access the... More

A really nice small and friendly hotel. Had a very pleasant 2 days, arrived early on the first day and it was'nt a problem when I asked to leave my suitcase and to pick up late evening on my departure was most obliging. What a lovely welcome we got from Jackie on arrival - makes such a difference after an early morning journey. Our room on the first floor, as requested, was very clean and comfortable complete with all our needs. The fridge is a welcome extra - maybe a small bottle of water would be a welcome addition as often that's the... More

Had a very pleasant three days here. Jackie was terrific - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room (5, I think) on the first floor was a reasonable size for a single, as was the en-suite. A nice touch to have a fridge, even if it was slightly hard to access. Bed very comfy. The location is excellent, as others... More

A modest comfortable hotel in an excellent location by the River Kelvin, convenient for walking to Kelvingrove, the Botanic Gardens and Oran Mor, and for subway and buses to the city centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful; breakfast was at least adequate. We were on the ground floor - the stairs looked as though they might be a bit... More

We chose this place for it's convenience and price. It's hell to find by car and map because the streets of this town are so poorly marked. But it is a short walk to Kelvinbridge Underground station. Breakfast was adequate at best. I asked for fried eggs and got one. Hot drinks come out of a machine which spews it... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in room 2 on 25th 26th and 27th July. Hotel is small and very quiet as a river and the park are just across the street. This hotel is so handy as a 2 minute walk across the street is Kelvinbridge sub Station which offers transport across glasgow city. Staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

Nice place. Close to subway and some good restaurants (Wudon and Lansdowne). Do not take room 17, as you are right beside the lobby and hear all of the late arrivals and early departures. Small but efficient room at good price for Glasgow. More

It's from times past.... Bedsit-land circa 1980's. Clean enough but entirely without any eye for room design, layout or contemporary modern day decor. Squillions of notices in common areas (and some in the room as well). Reception area most unwelcoming, yukky little cupboard style booth. They take your money before you get to see the room (what does that say... More
