Have just returned from a one night stay at the Kelvingrove....Very pleased it was just one night!!! Good points: Central location,lovely reception area and average breakfast. We stayed here when dropping off my son at Uni Halls which were close by. The bed sheet didn't cover the mattress, there was black mould in the shower and grouting and the bathroom door stuck and was stubborn to open and close. The redeeming feature was the breakfast as it was very good. More

We have stayed here a number of times on visits to Glasgow. Good location for the West End. Can be fairly noisy within the hotel. Not particularly great value, but reasonable accommodation. However, the hotel does employ a ruthless cancellation policy, which most recently charged us our full stay irrespective of circumstances, and ensures we won't be coming back again. More
