Stayed here for one night. Too far away from railway station (/bus station), should´ve took the bus. The hostel is very old, and not very good condition. I had to change my room for 3 times. In first room was awful noise, heater (battery) on the toilet kept so loud noise that no one couldn´t sleep there in the night!... More

I have stayed in a number of youth hostels and this one is certainly one of the nicest. The building, an old town house, is just phantastic - the common room and the stairwell are extremely atmospheric. The staff is nice overall and the kitchen facilities are okay. However, the rooms vary! I have stayed here twice, each time with... More

I was nervous at first as my backpacking days are well and truly over. But I was pleasantly surprised at my experience which my partner booked confidently (as he done it before) and now we are signed-up over 26 year olds member! This is in a grade listed building in the beautiful Park Terrace area overlooking the park and near... More

I stayed in 6-bed dorm for 4 nights in Dec 2012. The hostel is clean, warm, well-managed and friendly. Our room had an en suite shower room and separate loo. The kitchen is well-equipped and very clean. The hostel is 10 mins walk from the fantastic Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery and about 15 mins by bus from the city centre.... More

Stayed here about 4 times to date - never really disappointed. We go to Scotland every year for X'mas and this is one of the places we stopover enroute Northern Scotland. This is an OLD building - with terrific life in it. The self catering kitchen is a treat - and the rooms are clean, basic and not to let... More

Enjoyed our stay at this hostel, was in a lovely area of Glasgow within easy walking distance of everything you might need (or cheap taxi to places a little bit further). We had a good sized room for a great price and the staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful! The only downside is the wifi only works on the... More

Quite a good choice for accomodation in Glasgow (if you like hostel atmosphere). Bunk beds, shared bathroom and common kitchen and dining room. The staff is kind and helpful, you can equip yourself with maps and guides at the counter. The also sell beer, which is not very common in youth hostels :) The only disadvantage, I found, is the... Unfortunately, this was the worst hostel I stayed in during my time in Scotland. Although situated in a nice big house, the rooms are very small. Too small for 6 people. There was no possibility to lock the door to the shower. Also the shower was a room of about 1mX1.5m, there was fungi on the roof because of the... More

Typical hostel experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the place was clean and the beds were comfortable. All rooms are en-suite. The hostel is situated in a quiet area near a nice park. For what I paid I cant really fault the place. I had a meal cooked for me one evening which was of a good quality. There... More

I stayed at this hostel recently for two nights, and I feel like it was a great choice of accommodation. All of the staff that I interacted with we're really nice and helpful, even when it was late at night. The place was clean and I felt like they took pride in what they offered. The only issue we had... More
