We had one night here and were impressed with the personal welcome, the comfortable room and the generous breakfast. More

A comfortable friendly place to stay in a great location. Came with my daughter - had a lovely big room at the front. Very good continental style breakfast. Lovely hosts. Didn't expect such a personal service from a big city Guest House. Many thanks and we will definitely be back. More

The entire experience was positive: the comfortable room, which looked onto a leafy garden, the satisfying breakfast, the very helpful staff (thanks!!). The location couldn't be better: right off the Kelvinbridge underground. A great plus: access to the Kelvin walkway, from which you can walk up to the Royal Botanical Garden or down to the Kelvingrove Museum, all along the... More

I stayed in their smallest single -- a cozy attic room on the top floor. Although the room did not have an ensuite bathroom, it had all basic amenities -- TV, hairdryer, even a personal sink. It was small, but I loved the slanted roof and the sunlight during the day. Everything was very clean, from my room to the... More

I stayed for 11 nights in room 7, and it was wonderful. The staff are very friendly and there is nothing they would not do for you. The hotel is clean and my room was made up everyday i was there, The Breakfast is a cold buffet, and it was good to be able to chose something different every day.... More

This is a little gem of a guest house. Rooms are clean and comfy, the continental breakfast was always tasty and well presented, and the whole ambience is one of friendliness. One small gripe : getting the TV to show a picture involved going under the table, pulling the plug out while the set was on, and putting the plug... More

Alex and Vivienne made me and my family so welcome and gave us the best introduction to Scotland we could have possibly got on our vacation. They really made the difference with all their help in such a warm and cozy place. More

We stayed at amadeus for valentines day and it was great. The staff have great local knowledge, the location is great and the rooms are large and comfortable. I just read some negative reviews so felt i had to say it was fine for us. More

Had a terrible night's sleep in a very uncomfortable bed that was so hard! Room was clean but small and decor was really sub standard .Curtains didn't fit and were thin so light came through window. Breakfast was fine - owner was pleasant but didn't engage much. Looked good from outside... but really disappointing - shabby and worn. Needed a... More

Stayed for the 3rd year running - extremely smart and comfortable room, great breakfast. There is a note from the owner (?) pointing out that the refurbishment will take some time and for people to be patient - fair enough in my book Would always make this a first choice when staying in Glasgow. The only (tiny) thing is that... More
