Just stayed here for a short winter walking break with our two terriers. We stayed in the Cairntoul log cabin which was adjoined to another. Lovely setting with views of the bridge to the Rothiemurcus estate and the river out of the front windows. We had steps straight from our balcony down to the Old Bridge Inn less than a... More

Great few days at Pine Bank Chalets, which we found to be well equipped and very comfortable. Location is excellent - within walking distance of all the amenities of Aviemore, yet not so close that it is noisy or that you feel you are in a town. We had Caingorm cabin, and had none of the issues of train noise... More

We spent 3 nights here as an anniversary treat - already knowing that it was quite a compact site with half a dozen chalets (though this didn't bother us). The chalet (Dulnain) is really lovely, very new and fresh feeling and extremely cosy. I couldn't fault it. Now the not so great bit .. it's *yards* from the main train... More

Many thanks for your review, we greatly appreciate your comments. We are glad that you liked the chalet as we have invested a lot of time and money over the last few years improving our accommodation to meet it's high standards. You are correct that the train line is located to the rear of our site, however as you can... More

We have stayed at pine banks twice already this year in the mcdui chalet which was a perfect retreat to get away from it all. The chalet was lovely, clean and very spacious with beautiful surroundings with a great friendly pub next door. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I can... More

We took the dog to pine bank chalets and stayed in the cairntoul lodge. It was nice, thought for the price we paid (£130 for 2 x nights) was reasonable and the lodge was lovely. Only thing I hav to be critical about was to agree with earlier reviews from people... Was quite dusty and full of lots of cobwebs.... More

We stayed in nethy lodge for 3 nights in August. We arrived early and popped into reception to ask to leave the car - the staff were very helpful and said they would get our lodge cleaned first so we could check in at 1pm instead of 4pm. We were very happy with the size of the lodge and it... More

My wife, two children, two dogs and I have ended up at Pinebanks three times in the last year and are looking forward to it again. The new owners have made improvements each time we have been and continue to do so, it's always warm and spotlessly clean, the fittings and bedding have all been updated. It's close to town,... More

Just back from our second visit to Pine Bank in the same year, I love it there. We stayed in Cairntoul Cabin both times which is a lovely little cabin that sleeps 2 with a spacious living area and kitchen area that's well equipped with pretty much anything you'll need. The cabins are in a great location just 5 minutes... More

My husband and I stayed in Bynack chalet, which is actually a 2 bed chalet for 4 people, however we felt that 4 people would have struggled for space - there were only 3 'comfy' lounge chairs for example. We stayed here for 1 week during June 2012 after a week travelling around staying in B+Bs, so were looking forward... More

It is greatly upsetting to read this review after we tried personally so hard to appease your every request during your stay here. You had booked our most expensive chalet that accommodates 4 people (when there were only 2 in your party - making it very pricey per person) and it became quite clear that you were out to get...
