Stayed here for one night in August. It is one of the hotels in the Macdonald Aviemore Resort. The public areas in the hotel itself are really tired and, at least in the summer, it seems to cater mainly for coach tours. The place was literally deserted when we walked in but we found our way over to central resort... More

Of all the hotels in the resort in Aviemore, the Four Seasons has always been our favourite. It's away from the hub where the screeches and shrieks of noisy children are a constant annoyance. It's slightly 'down at heel' but retains a little style of the place we have visited for over twenty years. A must if you want to... More

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour - had an ok room - a bit tired looking - some fellow travellers could not access their rooms during the day as management thought we were out for the day. Enjoyed pool. Think hotel needs sprucing up but would stay again,

As this was my second visit to this hotel I was expecting the same or similar experience as the previous visit however it turned out to be a un-pleasurable experience. I had a room on the second floor facing the rest of the resort. At about 8pm loud music at some convention at one of the facilities at the resort... More

We arrived as part of a tour group in May this year and whilst I agree with some of the previous reviews, that the decore is old, tired and dated and needing an uplift, we had no complaints with the rooom we stayed in. My concern was with the way management dealt with catering for lager groups. Two other groups... More

I stayed here for two nights in April 2012. This hotel is part of a chain of other hotels owned by the MacDonald Group called Aviemore Highland Resort, all in close proximity to each other. My colleagues and I used the conference and the dining facilities for one dinner in the Highland Resort and they were excellent and ideal for... More

Difficult to know where to start. Ugly 60s tower block recently repainted to make it look like it's been refurbished, which it hasn't. Reception area freezing cold, as both automatic doors broken and left open all weekend. Reception area like a 3rd world bus station. not a place to relax, especially when you would need thermals to sit there for... More
