“friendly,comfy and good value”

We were on month tour of Scotland. hotel is Handy for John o Groats and castle of May. We found the staff most helpful and busy as coach party was arriving.Given room on 2nd floor and no lift so hard work with luggage. Room comfortable and clean and quiet. “A travellers dichotomy!”

As you arrive at the Norseman, gut instinct is to turn around and go. Flaking paint, dirty windows, look of a working mans club really puts you off. “Comfortable, relaxing, good value.”

Middle 3 nights of an 11-night tour of Scotland. The hotel is centrally located in Wick, and its interior is much nicer than one might expect from its rather stark exterior! The room was comfortable, the service friendly, the breakfast excellent. Dinner was good and the servings copious! I would have not hesitation in returning to the Norseman!

“Very comfortable stay for business trip”

Excellent central location in Wick, with nice Riverside views. The Hotel was busy with both foreign visitors and business people. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The room was nice with a TV and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of fresh produce.

“Great little hotel, spoilt by boy racers in the evening”

Really good little hotel, very comfortable and clean. Sleep was slightly spoilt by the boy racer team that meets in the adjacent car park about 50m from the hotel bedrooms. The revving and tooting carries on until approx 2300. The food served is lovely, and the breakfast selection and quality was a pleasant surprise.

“Great Staff”

We have been travelling through Britain for 8 weeks and the staff at the Norseman were the most friendly, patient and helpful of any we have met. We are from Australia and I will be happy to tell my friends about our great stay.

“hotel and staff with heart”

we enjoyed every second of our stay. the lady in charge of the dinning room made sure we had hagis for breakfast and looked ater us Aussies like babies. we felt just so comfortable - worth every cent - we have million dollar memories thanks to all the staff kind regads Norma and peter White Seaford , Victoria , Australia

“Wonderful hotel”

Wonderful hotel. Staff very friendly, highly efficient, and very attentive to every detail. Single room very spacious. Very clean and quiet. Food excellent. Carvery outstanding, huge selection of meats, veggies and a variety of potatoes. Pudding selections delicious! Spoilt for choice. Lovely selections for breakfast. Wifi connection in room excellent.
