We stayed at Furan Guest House for 1 night in September 2011 during our driving holiday around Scotland. Janice was the perfect host, the guest house feels homely and the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Having not visited Inverness before we weren't sure where to go for dinner but Janice provided us with a file she'd made with nearby... More

Myself and two workmates stayed here for seven nights whilst working in Inverness. Janice put us in the 'family' quarters which has a kitchenette. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice. More

We stayed for three days with our 2 kids and felt so much at home with Janice. She is running her guest house efficiently, professionally, with very much care and a personal touch. The rooms and facilities (e.g. washing mashine, dryer, kitchen) are spotless and very practical , too. Since it was our first accommodation on the trip our standards... More

Our main priority in looking for a guest house was our dog! Furan accepted our westie without question. Janice is a wonderful host, very clean accommodation and nothing was too much trouble. We were canoieing the Great Glen Way from Fort William to Inverness but finished it too late to get to our intended stop and Janice took us in... More

My sister, my husband and myself spent 3 weeks in the United Kingdom and stayed in many Guest Houses and this was the best BY FAR..Janice was a lovely, friendly host. We had the family unit which was spotlessly clean and tea/ coffee making facilities. Janice told us about a pub with good food within walking distance...food was excellent. We... More

Fantastic from start to finish. The family unit was great, just what we wanted. Janice made us so welcome, the breakfast was fab! The little extras in our rooms were fab. Janice had brochures for eating out and for local attractions and she was also on hand to give us information on trips etc. The whole Furan Guest House experience... More

three of us recently stayed for 6 nights at the Furan guest house whilst attending the Scottish Open golf tournament. We stayed in the family unit which was ideal for us and was absolutely spotless. We had breakfast in the main house at a time which suited us and even had to talk the hostess Janice out of making breakfast... More

I was travelling from Australia and found Furan Guesthouse when I simply drove past it. It was very late notice but thankfully they still had a room left which I took. Janice was very helpful in letting me know what was about town and making me feel right at home. Breakfast the next morning was delicious (best and only haggis... More
