We enjoyed our stay at the Riverview Guesthouse, especially our tastefully decorated purple room, the delicious breakfasts and the hospitality we were welcomed with. The house is not exactly in the city centre, but within walking distance. A good place to start/end your walk on the Great Glen Way.

The Riverview is a small but charming guesthouse, a little bit outside of Inverness. It's clean and quiet. The owner is very helpful and also cooks very well. If you go to Inverness, stay there!

We arrived frazzled after a long day's drive (from St Andrews) and my misinterpreting the directions to the b/b but it took only a short while for the host, Neil, to calm me down. The charming house, situated on a main road just on the edge of town, across from a park, one block from the river, is an easy walk to great restaurants and very near to the city center. The hosts provided several little extra toiletries and refreshments in the room not usually found in a B& B, and we thought the location was perfect. Has a nice view of the river and located close to city centre. It's close to a busy road and the traffic noise starts very early. We were surprised that this place was rates 4 star as decor is dated with carpet in bathrooms!

Friendly and welcoming, both to me and my dogs. Very convenient for city, river walks and Eden Court theatre. My (single) room was cosy but had everything for my comfort, including a very generous hospitality tray and lovely view of gardens and river. Excellent breakfast. I certainly hope to stay here again.
