The garden cottage number 2 within 30 secs walk of the hotel was perfect, rooms were spacious, tv room was small but comfortable. Decor very good. Shower was a bit weak, but a minor point.
Hotel itself had great food, and open fires, very relaxing!
Our children enjoyed the grounds and garden.

I stayed on a business trip - good value late booking - and it was a wonderful place to stay, but its probably ideal for a romantic weekend away. Absolutely fantastic food and service (not surprised they have just won a national dining out award), and a luxurious room for less than I'd recently paid for a standard chain hotel.
