Look left from the main entrance of Inverness railway station and 10 meters away is the entrance to the hotel. It is an imposing stone building, convenient to the centre of Inverness and should you not wish to eat in the hotel, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My deal did not include food but I enjoyed breakfast and evening... More

I recently went to Inverness shopping and decided to take my friend to ASH for something to eat, well what a disappointment that turned out to be! The duck breast that I ordered served pink was not far of raw and the skin which should have been well seared and crispy was chewy and rubbery, the rank congealed sauce served... More

Paide the princly sum of £85 BB to not be offered assistance with bags then if we needed to park outside to go out and move the no parking sign and park there. The first room we got to wasnt clean (mcdonalds bags lying around etc),... More

The hotel's proximity to the station was my main reason for choosing it .... and that was great although for my purposes the 3pm check in was a little inconvenient. This is an old hotel where many original features have been upgraded or maintained. The grand staircase is impressive, the staff were unfailingly helpful, my single room was clean and... More

The location of the hotel is great , next door to the railway station and a five minute walk to the River Ness. First impressions are very grand - the stair case and the main lobby area are splendid. I had a room on the third floor - a fab little room with a very comfortable double bed , small... More

This was part of a package and for the money OK. The grand staircase is the focal point but that's about it. Elsewhere, the hotel is a little shabby. Was unaware of the severe lack of parking places, only about 6 spots in front and all the others are for the train station. Was advised we might be ticketed if... More

room was pretty big and very clean, good TV and shower. Fresh towels every day. Room service was over priced for what we got. Breakfast wasnt too good. plenty to pick from but that was all it had going for it. Average age approx 55, not ideal for young couples. We were given a voucher to use at the ASH... More

Thank you for the kind review and we have noted the pouints mentionned where we did not come up to your expectations and we apologise for that.
