Overnight stay in a spacious river view room badly in need of redecoration. Wall coverings heavily scuffed and ceiling significantly cracked. And the bathroom - EEUUGH! Antiquated,mould stained grouting and sealant,enamel on bath missing in one area exposing rusty underlying surface and harbouring goodness knows what bacteria. Sadly we were terrible disappointed with our accommendations. No heat, drafty, bed uncomfortabe. Badly in need of renovation. Draperies only hung on rods here and there, hanging down in other places. They did bring up a small heater to use to try and warm the room. The only bright point was the meal. Had an excellent dinner.

The hotel is well located with lovely views on to the fast flowing river Ness. It is no more than 5 mins on foot to the centre of town, shops and the Art Gallery & Museum.
