My husband and I had a driving trip in Scotland back in Sept, 2010. Searching online for a nice B&B in Inverness and many good recommendations prompted me to book this all time number 1 B&B - Avalon Guest House! Excellent location as it's only 5min drive to city centre. Avalon provides parking space at front door which is really... More

We stayed here last year, it was absolutely amazing! We did a lot of research before we went, and were tempted to book into a hotel, but were advised to give this place a shot, best decision of the whole trip! The place was friendly, warm and comfortable. We stayed in the purple room and loved it! The place is... More

We stayed two nights and were impressed by the value. Very friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts and a very clean and comfortable bedroom. The location makes for an easy walk to downtown as well as a great base for touring the highlands. We definitely rate the Avalon as top notch. More

Avalon Guest House is voted the #1 B&B in Inverness for a reason - thoroughly amazing. It is in a great location where you can walk to downtown Inverness. We checked in pretty late, but Jo was right there waiting for us. She gave us some recommendations for dinner (The Mustard Seed - very good) and then showed us to... More

My wife and I were going to a Friday evening concert at Eden Court in Inverness and decided to do some early Christmas shopping on the Saturday. Had read reviews about Avalon Guest House and decided to make it our "home" for two nights. Jo was on her own, (hubby away on a diving holiday). We found her to be... More

B&B was modern and rooms were spacious and very clean. The host was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great too. Wish I'd known about this little gem before. We will definitely be back! I would highly recommend this B&B. More

We stayed here at the weekend and had a thoroughly great experience. Jo called in advance of our arrival to check when we'd be there, and offered travel advice for when we got to Inverness. She greeted us when we got there and was so friendly and helpful, and checked on our needs for the following day as well as... More

We stayed at the Avalon for 3 nights and were impressed by the warm hospitality by the hosts, Jo, Bradley and their loving pet dog, Braxton. Room was big and comfortable. Encountered not a single problem from the amenities provided. As we were driving, location wasn't a major concern and if you need to walk to the town centre, it... More
