I choose to stay here because they claim to be a bed and breakfast/guesthouse. None of this is true. Its a hotel. And not such a great one. Choosing a B&B is choosing to stay in someone's home, where you find warmth and cosiness, a place where people live. Staying at guisachan house is none of this, so I was... More

Stayed here for about a week while my Mum was in hospital. We felt very well looked after during a stressful visit to Fort William. The rooms were very clean and warm (the weather was very cold outside). Breakfasts were very enjoyable. The view over Loch Linnhe is to be enjoyed while you eat your breakfast. There is a private... Fantastic place, well looked after and dried all our sweaty wet kit after a day on the Ben, they even supplied sandwiches. Would stay again. Easy access to Fort William high street and restaurants, great curry house at far end on right. Our favourite bar was the Needlesports one with open fire and large steaks. Great trip.

As I ended the West Highland Way (after a tough last day due to weather conditions), the Guisachan House restored me! The owner (from the Netherlands) was beyond gracious as she helped me and other guests with whatever we needed. I spent two nights here before continuing onto the Great Glen Way and I felt refreshed due to the warm... More

Staying here for 4 nights with a group go 9. Had a twin room, with beautiful views. The room was large (3 beds), with an excellent en suite. The attention to detail in the room is impressive - very clean everywhere, clock radio, tea/coffee etc.. A warm room, where guests control the heating - and very quiet. Unfortunately I was... More

Beautiful Guesthouse that is actually bigger than it looks from outside. I had a nice quiet single room with a view in neighbour's garden. It was very clean, comfortable, and at a reasonable size (not these tiny cells you sometimes get when booking a single room). The bathroom with shower was also clean and modern. The full breakfast is delicious... More

Stayed here for just one night as I was in Fort William to take a journey on the Jacobite steam train, Guisachan was only 5 mins from train station. I was early and was just going to drop my bag off but as my room was ready I was able to book in there and then. What a warm welcome... More

We stayed at this delightful guest house with some friends during a motorcycle tour of the Scottish Highlands. We had ridden around 200 miles in the pouring rain and as we arrived, we were given a warm welcome by the owner offering to put our wet gear in his boiler room/ drying house. He provided us with baskets to put... More

We started our hike along the Great Glen Way in Fort William and I don't think we could have stayed at a nicer B&B than Guisachan House. Great view from our room and the breakfast room. We had brought our thermos flasks because we wanted to bring some coffee for the walk and they were readily filled. Everyone was very... More
