When we entered the B&B, we were surprised by decoration. Looked magnificent! The river view from the window was stunning as well. Our surprise grew when we walked into the bathroom - it was HUGE! My wife and I joked that the bathroom could be modified into another guest room for single travellers. The dining room was also bright and... More

Stayed here with my then fiance and sister in May 2009, when we did the whole harry potter train the next day early in the morning. We went down just to grab a roll or 2 before heading out to the train since we were leaving I'd say at least 30 or 40 min before breakfast was to start. Anyways,... More

Lovely well kept and beautifully decorated guest house, well positioned only a few minutes walk to Fort William centre. Our room was beautiful and had a large bathroom. The residents' lounge was very comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee/biscuits and also an array of magazines detailing things to do in the area. The breakfast selection was very good and our cooked... More

Picked at random driving by the 30+ places along this road packed with B&Bs and hotels. This one is a short walk from the centre of town. Very spacious, clean and stylish rooms, fantastic beds (no expense spared), super-friendly guest house hosts - the kind that were born to run a guest house - Stuart and Lorna... Still remember their... More

Staying two nights having walked the West Highland Way, this has to be Fort William's finest guest house... Bags of character, beautifully appointed inside, and with the most amazing views across the loch from the front guest rooms and breakfast room. It's located about five minutes walk from the town's best street for pubs and restaurants, so you get the... More

My Mum and I initially only booked a 2 night stay at Buccleuch but extended this to 4 nights at short notice due to my Mum (77 years young) feeling unwell after a long journey from Skye. We were welcomed by Lorna (you are a complete star) on our arrival who took us to our twin room and immediately made... More

The excellent standards were only surpassed by the warmth of the welcome. We were even taken to the train station because it was raining! More
