Maureen collected us from our Speyside walk taking us back to the lovely surroundings and pretty home where we were welcomed by Robin busily tending the garden. Woodville has stunning views and is wonderfully comfortable. We were driven by Robin to a local hotel for a great evening meal and again collected later by him. Breakfast was delicious and it... This was our second stay at Woodville and it was most enjoyable as ever. Our room was very comfortable and catered for all our needs. The dining room, where we had breakfast, had a fantastic outlook over the countryside and Robin and Maureen are first class hosts. We look forward to our next visit.

Warm hospitality on the part of Maureen and Robin Loweth and the delightful surroundings of Woodville for our two nights' stay on Speyside made for a memorable first visit to Scotland. Our team from Beijing were able to appreciate pristine air quality, abundant local wildlife and, not least, five star breakfasts! We were also most grateful to Maureen and Robin... More

Having read the reviews below I can fully endorse their sentiments. Robin and Maureen were lovely hosts. Their home is ideally suited to offer luxury and privacy to guests. The setting is idyllic and watching the red squirrel doing its impression of mission impossible to get to bird seed was wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble for them so just... More

Love this place! A calm, cosy timbered haven from which to view the rugged and wild landscapes, along with lots of deer, birds and red squirrels. Maureen is a wonderful hostess; every detail has been thought through....the views are stunning, the towels, sheets, beds are all lovely, and the breakfasts are superb. I had the most restful and relaxing weekend... More

Very comfortable, quiet and welcoming place to stay, 5 star breakfast. Stayed one night whilst walking the Speyside Way. Maureen and Robin made us very welcome, including picking us up from the Speyside Way and taking us to and from the nearest restaurant. Excellent value for money! This is definitely one of the best, if not the best places to... More

Preparing for a touring holiday in Scotland we had found Woodville on a web site and booked a couple of nights. We anticipated a nice welcome from the conversation on the telephone but we were blown away by the whole experience given by Robin and Maureen Loweth. From finding us a place to eat on the first night to the... More

I stayed here in August with my husband and teenage son while walking the Speyside Way. Maureen and Robin made us very welcome, including picking us up from the Way and taking us to and from the nearest restaurant. Maureen also took our bags to the next B&B for a very reasonable cost. We saw loads of red squirrels!

I stayed here on Day 3 of my Speyside Way trek. I have stayed in many B&B's over the years and I would put this one up there with the very best. Robin and Maureen are excellent hosts, and they offer beautiful accommodation in an equally beautiful location. It was the most expensive of all the places I booked; but... More

My husband and I spent a night here at the end of May while we were walking the Speyside Way. By far, Woodville was our favorite of the 6 different lodgings during the walk. Wish our schedule had allowed us to stay a few extra nights. The setting is beautiful, with the stone and wood home nestled along the edge... More
