We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package with 5pm.co.uk. It was an excellent price with a significant discount on the rack rate. The hotel is a lovely old Victorian building. Our room was smallish, but perfectly adequate with a view to the front over the lawns. The bathroom was remarkably spacious and had a decent bath. I note that... More

We had an overnight stay here and there were a few elements of that hotel that were dissappointing. The decor was a bit worn looking - I undertand that the style of the decor is in keeping with the age of the building, however parts of it looked like it could be doing with being freshened up. The room was... More

Stayed here for 1 sunday night with spa pack and 3 course dinner included through a 5pm deal. Due to the deal price we paid we had a pleasant enough stay, however we wouldn't pay the full price rates to come back. Positives : good breakfast. great staff and service. Lovely grounds and scenic setting. Vast amounts of info on... More

Booked room late on, man at front desk/telephone was less than helpful and not bothered about the fact. There was a member of staff with an overseas accent (can't remember from which area) who was very welcoming and friendly. He appeared to be the only one. On entrance the hotel is beautiful and very grand. The public areas are clean,... More

I have just returned from 1 nights stay at the Atholl Palace Hotel. I went with 3 friends and already we are planning another break there with our partners. The magnificent setting was enhanced by the service, food and general warmth and friendlieness of the hotel. The spa facilities were lovely. This is an old hotel , full of character... More

A tucked away hotel in a beautiful setting. The building is very unique and very old worldly. The place was comfortable and the food was good. Watch out for the dinner menu supplements. Advertise Dinner + B & B as inclusive then add supplements!!! Anyhow it is worth a visit. More

Had a three night dinner bed & breakfast break (including voucher for distillery visit). The wathe was great which helped - crisp, clear, frosty Scottish winter. The hotel was nicely warm with grear log fires. The bedroom was well heated. The hotel is well maintained for its age.The Club is very nice with excelent facilities. The food was fine although... I have just returned from another successful stay at the atholl palace .Although the hotel offers all the services you would expect the real bonus is the magnificent scenery of highland perthshire. The only slight negative was there was no view of the hills from room 306 unlike the other rooms I have stayed in. More
