Andrea and Martin run a LOVELY place! Everything had just the right touches to make it feel special, but homey at the same time. Andrea spent a lot of time working with me prior to the trip, as my mother has some mobility challenges. She also made sure we knew exactly the right place to go for dinner, and the... More

My partner and I returned to Craigatin for the second time and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Martin and Andrea are excellent hosts and are knowledgeable of the local area, one of the most beautiful in Scotland. We shall definitely be returning and I've bought a gift voucher for my parents to stay too! A great getaway for couples... More

We stayed here for the Etape Caledonia weekend and during this weekend, the owners reserve the rooms for those participating in the event. The guest house is on the main stretch of road, making it very accessible for the town itself but is orientation on the site means you are not disturbed by noise from the road. Nice little restaurants;... More

We loved Craigitin House. Martin and Andrea were kind enough to stay late for our late arrival, and made us a lovely dinner recommendation at Fern Cottage in town (despite the late hour); to make sure we made it in time, Martin offered us a ride down. The room was expertly decorated and gorgeous, and we loved the skylights and... More

Craigatin House offers luxuries and very comfortable stay. Its location is great - many attractions can be reached by foot and the building itself is a wonderful mix of historical and modern design. They also serve great breakfast with the wide variety of choices. Definately the best breakfast during our trip to Scotland! Everyone should try excellent porridge with whisky!... More

Stayed for the second time last weekend. Friendly and engaging owners (Martin and Andrea) greeted us and remembered we'd stayed with them before (even though it was a year ago). Room was of excellent standard, stylish and comfortable with everything you'd need. Breakfast room wonderful (huge studio overlooking the gardens) with even better breakfast (recommend the apple pancake with grilled... More

It's worth staying here to have Andrea's croissants alone, but there are other reasons. There are also bowls of fresh fruits, wonderful porridge and other goodies for breakfast. Rooms are nicely sized, with every comfort including hairdryer and heated towel rack. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens and pillows. The guest lounge is centered around a fireplace, with comfortable... More

Craigatin House is a haven of tranquility. It's more like a boutique hotel than a B&B, with beautifully decorated rooms, gorgeous gardens, and every attention to detail. As previously arranged, we arrived early to leave our bags, and were greeted with a beaming smile by Andrea the owner, who provided us with a map of Pitlochry, gave us some local... More

We had our 4 stay at Craigatin in April 2013, top marks again. We stayed in the one of the Courtyard rooms again as we like the flexibility and privacy you get with having your "own" front door. We have stay number 5 booked for October as friends are getting married in Pitlochry.
