Myself and my wife stayed at Savoy Park over New Year 2011-2012. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All members of staff we were in contact with were excellent and did everything within their power to make or stay perfect. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. More

from the moment we arrived we were welcomed by efficient, friendly staff who ensured our stay was enjoyable. the food is first class and very reasonably priced. the hotel is in a prime location for the town centre. if you love open log fires and warm homely surroundings this is the hotel to stay. I spent three nights here on business in December 2011 and was very pleased with the spacious bedrooms, friendly efficient staff and value for money dining, especially the cooked to order breakfast. The olde worlde character and antique furniture are reminscent of the building's original life as a private residence but happily the central heating is upto modern standards. More
