Had to post our comments having read previous poor reviews which really aren't very fair, considering the price charged. This hotel is positioned slap bang where you need to be. We flew into Glasgow and took the train to Ayr, so being car-less, this hotel was in the perfect position. Very Easy walking distance of railway station (you can see... More

One night stay accommodation only no breakfast Nice enough little hotel but noisy as the room was just above the main street Walls quite thin as I and to keep turning up the TV volume to mask the room next doors TV I( had made a booking error and had twin beds When pushed together found some wrappers under one... I have stayed here often over the last 20 years. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a small off street car park. Breakfast is served at the bistro next door and is exceptionally good. The hotel is very close to Ayr town center.

I have stayed here for many years now and I have enjoyed every stay. The beer is always well kept and the staff are friendly and hospitable. The rooms are nice and well kept. The breakfast is worth coming for particularly the coffee.

Ended up here after finding the Station Hotel unstaffed. Cheap room for the night, clean & comfortable. Friendly service. Perfectly adequate breakfast, although you have to take your voucher to the bistro next door. A good deal for what you pay.

My husband and I had our third visit to this hotel. We had our daughter and grandson with us this time. The staff are so friendly and helpful.. The hotel could do with a face lift but the location makes up for that. The food in the hotel is very good and reasonably priced.. Breakfast is served next door and... More

hotel is handy for the town, based on a busy room. Had a room looking out on the car park. Bar opposite played loud music til 12.30am .... but can be 1am. Room was clean but dated, small single. Bathroom clean and tidy. Bed was probably the worst I have stayed in. Felt like the springs would burst through at... More
