There aren't many places to stay where you walk in the door to your room and are absolutely stunned by the view out the window. Our room had a large bay window looking along Loch Ard with Ben Lomond as the distant backdrop. A spell binding beginning to our stay here. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed ever minute. The... More

This was our last b&b in an 8 day tour of Scotland and turned out to be the best, despite having stayed in some outstanding places on our way. Our room in the Victorian house was spacious, and provided with two easy chairs in front of the large sash windows, giving a relaxed view over the stunning view of the... More

Stayed here one night with two loch view rooms in mid-August 2012 for one night. Bedrooms are spacious, clean, and have wonderful views. The property was easy to find and had plenty of space for parking. The proprietor is friendly but not around when you didn't need her; she gave us a sufficient tour of the facilities and made us... Idilic and peaceful retreat overlooking loch Ard. Was last stop at end of tour of Scotland, and has rooms have no tv's as advertised this was no problem as the view over the loch watching the sun go down was all that was needed .Rooms comfy and good refreshment tray provided. Family helpful and welcoming , and the breakfast was... More

Picture post card setting overlooking Loch Ard. Room overlooked Loch, with wee wooden jetty and boat house. Ben Lomond in distance with dusting of smow. Owners Cara and David friendly without being intrusive. Excellent breakfast and location. Ideal for walking – right next to forest paths and river walks.

This was a great place to stay, the host Cara was gracious, the room spotless with lovely white bedding. Breakfast was great and the view over Little Loch Ard was beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful and Cara was so welcoming and helpful. Fantastic breakfast!! We were there for a kayaking weekend and Cara let us park early on Saturday which was even before the Friday night guests had left in the morning. Great access to a beautiful loch and the trip into the main loch just stunning!! The weather helped as it was... More
