After many many stays in hotels across Ireland and abroad I have never left a review on trip advisor - however I couldn't let this stay go by without acknowledging the fantastic Donegal Manor. From the moment we drove up the driveway I was happy and it only went uphill! From the inviting reception area (complementary tea, coffee and refreshments... More

I really enjoy the stay there. From the reception until You leave the hotel. They take Care of You. The rooms are very cleaned. The wifi service is excelente. And the breakfast very taste full. They just prepare IT for the time that You want IT.

The hotel is a little different to the normal accommodation - quirky, interesting and living up to its 'boutique' title in many ways. Very friendly and helpful. There is a also a suit of armour in the reception hall to which I said 'hello' after we arrived back late at night (and perhaps after one too many glasses of Guinness)... More

We only stayed at Donegal Manor for one night but the warmth and friendliness of the owners, the cleanliness and size of the rooms and the great breakfast would lead us to recommend it. The owners were extremely helpful in giving us directions and organising a mini bus for our group to an event we were attending. Our twin room... More

Donegal Manor is big enough to be a hotel but keeps the small, friendly B&B feel. The owners and all staff we encountered were never too busy for a chat and our questions whether they were about our accommodation or recommendations for dinner and sights to see. This was the first place we've stayed where we felt comfortable enough to... More

We stayed at the manor in Feb, and found it relaxing break - just want we needed. we were given a very large room / suite, which was extremely comfortable. the only small aspect i would say is the shower head was fixed to the wall, i personally prefer the "hand set" type. the food was fantastic, from the cake... We enjoyed every minute of our short stay at the Manor. It was clean and beautiful. The room was large and spacious, plenty of room to stretch out. The breakfast was delicious and the homemade jelly was to die for. The sweet couple that run the Manor were so kind and treated us like family. We will be back!!

This is a most beautiful place to stay. Even though it is on the N15 we didn't find traffic noise to be a problem and had an excellent night's sleep. The welcome was very warm as was the open fire where we had a cuppa before heading out to see the town. Our room - Lady Nuala - was beautiful.... More

We picked this as it was out of town .it is a little old fashioned but the welcome was warm and the food some of the best we had had. We had viewed the website and found it to be as shown so we were not disappointed. What was nice was a cup of tea and a fresh scone each... More

During the winter this is more of a guest house than a hotel. The rooms were clean, large and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with homemade jams, bread and cake. The hotel would be an ideal place to stay if attending an event locally. However, as a destination in itself it was disappointing as there were no facilities such as... More
