My family and I (6 adults) road-tripped across Ireland in the fall of 2010. We stayed in a different B&B each night of our 10-day vacation. Ardlenagh View was our 3rd night stay and it was great! It's located less than a 5 minute car ride from the town of Donegal where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants. It... More

Ardlenagh House was just what I needed after a week of fun, but busy travel.I was there 3 nights, and it was so relaxing. My room was comfortable and very clean. Eileen and Tony always had a fire going and tea ready when we came back. The breakfasts were super, and we overlooked an arm of the bay as the tide... More

Ardlenagh View was wonderful. Eileen and Tony were perfect hosts. Eileen made us tea when we arrived, chatted with us for a while, and gave us a choice of two rooms - both of which were immaculate and very charming. She was also very gracious in giving advice and trying to help my partner trace his ancestors in County Donegal.... More

We stayed here one night while traveling through Donegal Town. Tony prepared tea for us on our arrival. The family room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the water. Breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. I wish we had more time here, but a return is definitely on the agenda for our next trip to Ireland. More

We stayed at 15 B&Bs while in Ireland. We rated Ardlenagh View in the top 2 or 3 best places. We stayed there 4 nights. The location is on a hill a few km south of Donegal town within easy driving distance. The upstairs room we had was huge and comfortable. It even had a small table and chairs where... More

We stayed 2 nights with Tony and Eileen on June 8th and 9th with our teenage boys. Both rooms were very clean. Eileen was very friendly and we really enjoyed talking to her about our trip and her family. She gave us great dinner suggestions and when she heard it was my birthday, she left a bottle of wine outside... More

Great location to Donegal Town. Beautiful view of Donegal Bay. Eileen had a pot of tea and tea biscuits waiting on us when we arrived. Tony had a warm fire going in the sitting room each evening when we returned. It was a great time to sit and chat with other guest about their travels. We would definitely return again. More

This is possibly a great B&B as most of the reviews say but when we arrived after seeing the sign at the gate everything went wrong . We asked to see the room and it looked fine but the price we felt was above the budget level we had set for our travels . The Lady said she had a... More

Eileen and Tony were fabulous hosts and Ardlenagh View was a fabulous place to stay. Eileen welcomed us into the house and gave us a map of Donegal, talked us through directions, gave us parking recommendations, and persuaded us to drive up to Slieve League (despite the fact that we had assumed it would be too far), which are some... The owners were both very nice, personable, and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable but your window looking right into the parked cars out front was not pleasant. The location was too far from town to even consider walking in, you have to drive. The property has a nice view from one side but overlooks an industrial shopping center... More
