We booked one night on our Irish road trip and wished we had stayed longer. Don't be put off by the complicated instructions for finding Rossmore, the mud map is easy to follow. We stayed downstairs in the semi-detached room which was HUGE. With a bay window and chaise lounge looking over the waters of Donegal Bay we dismissed all... More

We recently stayed at this B&B. I would say of all the places we've stayed at in Ireland the scenery here was among the most spectacular and I would recommend it just for this attribute. We enjoyed our one night and probably both would have liked to spend at least another couple nights here. The B&B is located 5 km... More

My wife and I, and the couple we traveled with found this B&B to be great. The rooms were new, clean and spacious. We had a great view of the bay. Jackie, the hostess was very nice. Her kids were great. If we come back to this area, and I expect we will some day, this is where we will... More

FANTASTIC VIEW over the lake - away from the stress of sightseeing and towns - lovely room (ask for the detached one) - lovely hostess - she has about 5 kids and they are so sweet - this place is worth to make a detour for - nothing like it! More

We booked this B&B through the Tourist Information Office in Castlebar. It was pot luck but what a wonderful surprise we got when we arrived the view.....the house.....and the accommodation was breath taking. Mrs Browne was so welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good - especially the home made bread. I agree with previous reviews this is the... More

We visited a friend in Ireland this summer and stayed at Rossmore Manor. The reviews seemed to be too perfect. However, I can now say from personal experience - this is THE ONLY place to stay if you are visiting in and around Donegal town Ireland. My daughter and I spent 5 nights at Rossmore. It was an exceptional place... More

We went for two nights last week with our daughter (aged 2 and a half) and we've been talking about it ever since! What a gorgeous B&B with spectacular views over Donegal Bay. Our room (called the the hobbit - i think) was first class - really massive with luxurious furnishings and decor. The whole family were really friendly and... More

Well run B&B in an amazingly scenic location just outside Donegal Town. Enormous comfortable rooms, large shower, great breakfast, free wifi and parking, and a great view! Short drive into town and there's plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops as well as Donegal Castle. Breathtaking Slieve League cliffs nearby. Excellent value for money. More
