This hostel is in a great location. The staff are friendly and is very accessible by public transport. Breakfast was yummy with boiled eggs. I found other travellers kept to themselves as common room is so big.

This is one of the better hostels I have stayed in. The location is second to none and it has all the facilities you will need. The common room downstairs is huge and the kitchen is great for preparing meals. I think they probably crowd too many beds into a room though, it gets a bit squashy once they're full... More

Abigail's was our last stop through a road-trip of Dublin. The hostel was perfectly clean, and nicely priced. The area wasn't great for us - Temple Bar is very bro-y, and Abigail's accommodates tons of bachelor and bachelorette parties. We were a group of 3 in a 6 person bed, the room was small, but fine. Beds weren't very comfortable,... More

I wasn't very impressed with abigails. We paid to stay in a private room but I didn't see the point. It was expensive for what we got, staff weren't overly welcoming and it wasn't very clean. There are hopefully better places to stay in Dublin that are more welcoming.

We got a private 6 bed dorm for a group of girls on a hen 'do, and couldnt have been happier. The location is unbeatable, and the security seems pretty good. Its a 'make your own bed' place, but the sheets were clean, as was the room and en-suite bathroom. Theres no frills, but you wouldnt expect that at a... More

Bed linan was clean but a bit tired. Hostel location was perfect for shoppin and drinking. And at... More

The entire staff was extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile for us! Special mention goes the chatty Shawna and the big muscle-ey Kevin for being the lucky staff whose names we managed to remember :) Everything is clean but - not every guest cleans up after themselves so the kitchen area at times appears a bit messy... This certainly wasn't the nicest hostel I've stayed at. Positives -location close to Temple bar, Trinity college -complimentary breakfast w/toast, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled egg and sometimes fruit. Tea and coffee always available. -small kitchen to cook (closes at 2130) -grocery store practically next door. -staff was helpful finding tours and airport transfers. -price was reasonable Negatives -There are no... It's really big so it didn't have such a fun community feel, but the rooms were nice, the breakfast was included, the location was perfect, and apart from a few noisy early risers it turned out to be a good place to rest and refresh before heading out to explore the city.

Been travelling a month now in hostels, hotels, and b&bs and this is the worst sleep we've had. Initial impressions were great, hostel is in a great location, secure and quite large with a good common area. Check in was friendly. However the room was not the slightest bit sound proof and we had people shouting, laughing and running around... More
