Nice hotel amidst all major attractions in Dublin. Friendly staff and lively bar. Somewhat dated rooms, but reasonably comfortable. Make sure to stay on the upper floors as the surrounding roads and alleys can become quite noisy in the evenings,

Excellent location, near to everything. Clean warm and comfortable rooms, dated decor but that adds to the character of this hotel. Staff were friendly. No complaints whatsoever about this hotel. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer in the room which would have been nice. But the room had a bath which was a treat! Especially after running 10k.

We stayed 5 nights at Mercantile and it was great. Friendly staff, tidy rooms right in the city center. The hotel is situated in the Temple bar area with lots of bars, restaurants around. It's within walking distance of many of the main attractions in Dublin. I surely recommend.

near nightlife and shopping.great bar and friendly staff. old style hotel with lovely old furniture. busy area so dont book if your planning an early night. parking is nearby just ask hotel. would definitley stay here again as rates vg. check out bangers n mash - yummy. grafton st for shopping and stephens green.
