Friendly staff, with a great value in a central location . Rooms and beds are small but clean. Breakfast s a great value at 7 euro and staff is quite accommodating. Safe to say when I return Dublin I will be staying at Charles Stewart. More

It's a good hotel but they have to improve a lot. All the receptionist but one did their job as they were supposed to. The safe in the room didn't work and the housekeeper wanted to clean up the room in the afternoon, during nap time of our kid. Good Irish breakfast. They answer to e-mails. If you don't have... More

This is a very good excellent and affordable nice and neat place to stay in Dublin. At the center of the city and situated at a walking distance to many attractions like the Trinity College, National Museum, St. Stephen's Park and a lot of restaurants and shopping areas at a walking distance too. The hotel staff are very friendly and... More

Just in the heart of the town (great for shopping, sights and about 400m from Temple Bar). Really friendly and helpful staff - let us check in early, gave us recommenddations and tips and always asked about our welfare and if we were enjoying ourselves. Room for 3 was spacious clean and excellent value for money. More

Do you remember what that stood for? I also remembered John Ruskin and his advice about it being better to pay a little more rather than too little. The lack of heating irrespective of the price is ridiculous. The towel rail in the bathroom was rusty. No bulb in the vanity light above the washbasin. The free wi-fi exists only... More

stayed a week in december. The guest house was freezing ,asked to be provided with heaters and were told they did not have any.We had to buy our own heater to keep warm when in the room. the radiators came on at 5pm and were only slightly hot. the basement dining room was like a fridge. Food was plentiful and... More

Was so glad to find a place that has the heat on when you get there. The bed was comfy and shower was clean and warm. It was walking distance to the bus station and pretty much all of the city center. Did have a lot of stairs, (just the way the building is, nothing they can do about it)... More

The only fault I have is the heating or lack of! It was on a timer and was hardly on and the rads were only luke warm when they did come on! In the middle of the night it was bitter in the room. A great shame as everything from the staff, room and value for money was what I... More

I stayed here with a group of friends for 2 nights and on the plus side is the location, right in the middle of the city, the staff were great, friendly and attentive however even though the hotel was clean and adequate for the price, little heating in the rooms made the stay uncomfortable. More
